Here's What Is In John Abraham's Garage

- John Abraham's love for motorcycles and cars is renowned amongst his fans
- John's 1st bike was the Yamaha RD350 and 1st car was the Tata Sierra
- John's next possessions will be the new GT-R and Patrol SUV from Nissan
John Abraham's love for automobiles is an open secret and we all know how much he loves his bikes. Much recently the actor added a brand new Nissan Terrano SUV to his already exciting garage. The car was presented to him by the Japanese carmaker's local arm, Nissan India, after John was chosen to be its official brand ambassador. The company's Vice President - Marketing, Sanjay Gupta, recently handed over the keys of a brand new Nissan Teranno SUV to John Abraham.
Yes, he is the brand ambassador of Yamaha as well and a big fan of Moto GP, so much so that on a race weekend, he's glued to his TV set, however busy his schedule. But at the end of the day it's the collection that matters. He's told us that he's into hypersport to street to road bikes as also retro bikes. He's not much into cruisers, though he likes them (from a distance) we still wanted to know what his prized possessions were and that includes both the cars and the bikes.
Deep breath. Here we go. The Kawasaki ZZR1400 (ZX-14), Yamaha VMax 1700, Ducati Diavel, Yamaha FZ-160, Lamborghini Gallardo, Maruti Gypsy, Audi Q7 and there will be two more additions to this line-up, the Nissan Patrol and the 2017 Nissan GT-R. Yes, he's bought one and it'll come to him by November this year and you can watch him tell all about it. Going by the collection then, it is not difficult for us to understand that speed is his opium and well he's talked about clocking the 300km/h mark on two and four wheels; mind you, while doing this, he takes all the necessary safety precautions.
His love for cars and bikes is seen through his movies too may it be Dhoom or Dishoom. The latter will see bikes like the Ural with the side car, a BMW M6 and an X6 and an Agusta Westland Chopper and John told us that he enjoyed every bit of the action. So, clearly there's no dearth of entertainment and with the new movie, the obsession for John continues. We can't wait to see his latest acquisition, the 2017 Nissan GT-R, when it comes in November and we hope to see it vrooming on the streets of Mumbai then.
Bollywood and cars; both terms are inseparable and there are actors, directors, singers, producers et al who share a deep emotional bond with cars; which is why us journos can relate to it. And the love for cars is not restricted to the current generation but has a long lineage. Remember, singer Mohammed Rafi was the first to introduce India to a Honda Accord and even brand Audi; although he loved his Premier Padmini more. The current gen is equally flamboyant in their love for cars and John's garage proves that point.
