Honda Mobilio: Bookings Now Open

Scheduled to be launched on 23rd July, Honda's first ever MPV - the Mobilio - can now be pre-booked. Dealerships across the nation have now started accepting pre-orders for the MPV for a token amount of Rs 50, 000. The car is expected to be priced between Rs 6.5 lakh to 8.50 lakh, and will take on the likes of Maruti Ertiga, Chevrolet Enjoy and Nissan Evalia.
Based on the extended version of the Brio platform, the Mobilio appears more outgoing and premium than the hatchback. It's, in fact, one of the better looking MPVs that we have in India today. It measures 4,390mm in length, 1,680mm in width and 1,610mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,650mm. The extended wheelbase grants a spacious cabin, and creates a space for the third row seats.

The Mobilio will be available in two fuel efficient engine options: 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel. Both these engines also power the new-generation Honda City. With a claimed mileage of 24.2Km/l, the diesel engined Mobilio will become the most fuel efficient vehicle in its league. The petrol engine will deliver 17.3Km/l, which is also quite an impressive figure for a 7-seater car.
