Honda rolls out Amaze Anniversary edition

Launched exactly one year ago, Honda's answer to the Maruti Suzuki Dzire - the Amaze - has been a runaway success for the Japanese automajor in India. The company claims to have sold over 80,000 units of the car to date since it launch. To celebrate the first successful year, the company has rolled out the Anniversary edition of the Amaze that's Rs 71,861 more than the standard VX and S variants of the car.
The Anniversary edition looks slightly edgier and has been given an overdose of spoilers! Honda, on its website, says the front and rear bumpers now come with with spoilers while there's also a trunk-mounted - guess what - yes, spoiler! And there's yet more of spoiler-talk - the sides have spoilers too. I'd simply call it side-skirts, for easier understanding.
You also get door visors and a chromed exhaust muffler. Inside the cabin, the special edition gets premium upholstery and contrasting wooden finish panel on the dashboard. Other than the aforementioned features, this model also gets an 'Anniversary Edition' badge.
Announcing the 'Anniversary edition', Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd said, "Honda Amaze has been a game changer in its segment and has enabled HCIL to reach out to so many new customers, bringing them into the Honda fold. We are delighted to introduce the new 'Anniversary edition' amongst customers to celebrate its success. It is Honda's constant endeavor to provide freshness to our products and create excitement in the market. We are confident that the differentiated and youthful look of the car will have greater appeal to our customers."
