New Cars Launching in India in January 2015

After doing quite well in the last quarter of 2014, our carmakers are now all set to bring in more products in 2015 to keep the momentum going for them. We'll see several all new cars launching this year, but in this article we'll talk about the cars launching in the first month of 2015.
Datsun GO+ MPV
The first all new product to be launched this year will be Datsun GO+ - the country's first ever sub-compact MPV. Marketed as a 'compact family wagon', the GO+ is based on the company's first product in India - the GO hatchback. Both the vehicles share platform, engine and features, but the MPV additionally has third row of seats that can either be used for kids or luggage. Pre-bookings for the car have already begun and it will be launched on January 15, 2015.

Tata Bolt
Tata's much anticipated hatchback, the Bolt, will be the second product that will be launched in January. Scheduled to be launched on January 20, 2015, the Bolt is the second all new product launched under the company's HORIZONEXT product strategy. Just so you know, the Zest was the first all new product launched under HORIZONEXT. Coming both in petrol and diesel engine options, the Bolt will share its powertrains with the Zest. Powering the Bolt will be the same 1.2-litre REVOTRON petrol and 1.3-litre multijet diesel units that also do duty on the Zest.

Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class sedan
In a bid to further increase its market share in India, Mercedes-Benz India will launch its most affordable sedan in India - the CLA-Class - on January 22,2015. The CLA will take on Audi A3 that has received an overwhelming response in India. Mercedes' affordable sedan will be offered with two engine options - 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol and 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel, both mated to a 7-speed twin-clutch transmission.
