Volkswagen India today launched the all-new Taigun compact SUV in India. The company has said that it has already received more than 12,000 pre-launch bookings for the SUV, and with the prices out, it's now gearing up for festive demand.

The Taigun has been a much awaited launch from the company in India and is the first SUV based on the highly localised MQB-A0 IN platform.

Volkswagen has axed-down the base Trend Line variant for the Taigun and comes in a new fully-loaded range-topping Topline variant in the 1.0-litre Dynamic Line Taigun, while the 1.5 TSI is offered in GT Line and GT Line Plus variants.
