Mercedes-Benz EQC, the Stuttgart-based carmaker's first all-electric production vehicle has made its public debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. The new Mercedes-Benz EQC will start in the company's plant in Bremen, Germany from 2019, and is expected to go on sale in later next year as a 2020 model.

The company had posted sales of 91,269 units in the corresponding period in 2017. However, the company's domestic sales were down by almost 20 per cent when compared to September 2017. The sales of the company were down primarily due to a substantial slump in the sales of the company's entry level cars namely the Alto 800, Alto K10 and WagonR.
