Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS, the 101 bhp hot hatch, has been launched in India at Rs. 8.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Marking Maruti Suzuki's entry into India's hot hatch club, the Baleno RS faces competition from cars such as the Volkswagen Polo GT, Ford Figo, and Abarth Punto Evo. Though essentially a performance-oriented version of the standard Baleno, the hatchback's RS model comes sporting quite a few differentiating elements.

Further expanding its line-up in India, Italian supercar marque Lamborghini has now launched the new Aventador S LP 740-4 Coupe priced at Rs. 5.01 crore (ex-showroom). Essentially a meaner version of the standard Aventador, the 'S' suffix also signifies that the car comes with an improved design, sharper styling, better aerodynamics and a retuned V12 engine.

Maruti Suzuki is known for making some of the best handling hatchbacks in India, from the original Zen to the current Swift and now is finally launching a hot (or lukewarm) hatchback for India. Now we have already told you all you need to know in terms of the specifications but let us take you through how the standard Baleno and the Baleno RS differ in terms of external appearances.

Scoff if you will and judge me for having a first-world thought on the pricing of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class! The car has launched at Rs 56.7 lakh for the E200 and Rs 70.15 lakh for the E350d. Mercedes-Benz India has in some ways throw down the gauntlet to its immediate rivals. But only if the long wheelbase gamble pays off. If that happens then the star would have set the car amongst the pigeons as it were!

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class has finally gone on sale in India at a starting price of Rs. 56.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is the 5th generation E-Class that has arrived in India and it comes in the long-wheelbase (LWD) guise. The car is available in both petrol and diesel variants - E200 and E350d.

Mercedes-Benz recently released a teaser of the 2017 E-Class Cabriolet ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut. The new E-Class Cabriolet will have three engine variants in the base E 220d, an E 300 and a top of the line model in the E 400. The E 220d will have a 2.0 litre diesel engine producing about 188 bhp or so while the E 300 will have a 2.0 litre four cylinder petrol engine producing over 240 bhp. The biggest engine on offer will be a 3.0 litre V6 petrol engine that will pump out over 330 bhp and will also have Mercedes' 4Matic AWD system.

Volkswagen is all set to take the wraps off its latest sedan, the Arteon at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. However, the company couldn't help but release a couple of teaser pictures before the actual reveal of the car. Volkswagen calls the Arteon a fastback and will be positioning it above the Passat, replacing the old CC sedan in the line-up.

Porsche India recently brought in a limited edition 911 R model in India. Purchased by a Bengaluru-based Porsche collector, this particular 911 R is currently the only one of the 991 units produced globally, which has been delivered in India.
