New Ford Figo's Official Images Leaked Ahead of Launch

Coming to the design, the all-new Ford Figo hatchback will feature the company's new signature grille with four horizontal slats, sweptback headlamps and plastic-surrounded fog lamps. The Figo's side profile too looks exactly similar to the Aspire till the rear wheel since the Figo features a hatch. The hatch also gets wrap-around tail-lamp.

The new Figo's cabin too looks similar to that of the Aspire with features such as three-spoke steering wheel with silver accents, 4.2-inch SYNC multimedia infotainment system with piano black finish, steering mounted controls, etc. Though the Figo gets all-black interior as against the Aspire's dual-tone scheme.

As mentioned earlier, the new Ford Figo will also share its engine and transmission lineup with the Aspire. While the diesel model will feature a 1.5-litre TDCi unit mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, there will be two petrol units - 1.2-litre TiVCT with a 5-speed manual and a 1.5-litre TiVCT petrol with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Just like the Aspire, the new Ford Figo could also get 6 airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), reverse parking sensor, electrically adjustable ORVMs, height adjustable driver seat, etc.

We expect the new-gen Ford Figo to be priced in the range of Rs. 4.20 lakh - Rs. 7 lakh (ex-showroom).
