Okinawa Autotech, a leading EV manufacturer in India, announced the launch of a new initiative where the company will train dealers and partners to handle technical problems and maintenance for electric scooters during lockdown. Jeetender Sharma, MD & Founder, Okinawa Autotech Pvt Ltd. said, "The lockdowns have had an inevitable impact on both - the business as well as the customers. In these testing times, we would like to ensure that neither the dealers nor the customers face any issues with the scooters. In order to do so, we started with these workshops this month, and have been consistently communicating with our dealers and partners to assist them in every possible way. "

Okinawa says that the training will be imparted once a week on a virtual platform with participation from dealers across the country. The weekly training will be led by service head and sales head of the company. Additionally, the company organises a central pan India dealer workshop once every quarter, which happens in the presence of the team management. If any dealer faces a technical issue, there's enough flexibility to conduct a separate video call session. In case any further assistance is needed, the company will arrange for a service engineer visit too.
