Maruti Suzuki India announced witnessing a 30.8 per cent year-on-year (Y-O-Y) growth in September 2020, with total sales standing at 160,442 units. The company sold 122,640 vehicles during the same month in 2019.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 8,116 units in September 2020, which is a 20.45 per cent decline compared to 10,203 units sold in September 2019. Although it must be noted that Toyota sold 5,555 units in August 2020 and that means it saw a growth of 46 per cent in September 2020.

Bajaj Auto has released the sales data for September 2020, during which the company finally registered a Year-on-Year (Y-o-Y) growth after five months. Last month, the company's total sales stood at 4,41,306 units, a 10 per cent rise as against the 4,02,035 vehicles sold in September 2019.

The survey also entails that sales of automobiles are likely to ascend moving forward with more people opting for personal mobility and it's already started recovering as we saw with the sales figures last month.
