Two-Wheeler Sales October 2021: AMO Electric Records 500 Per Cent Growth

AMO Mobility Solutions, an electric bike manufacturer headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has recorded sales growth of 500 per cent in October 2021. Riding on the back of faster EV adoption, in the face of rising fuel prices, AMO electric bikes has sold 2,500 units in October this year, compared to just 416 units in the same month last year. According to the company, methodologies used by the sales team, as well as step-by-step processes has contributed to the boost in sales. The festive season of Dhanteras and Diwali has added to overall sales, leading to rapid growth and momentum.

Commenting on the company's growth in sales, Sushant Kumar, Founder and MD, AMO Electric bikes, said, "This gigantic growth in the festive season is just a delightful indicator. We have been witnessing a consistent growth pattern through the third quarter this year, with 200 per cent in August, 350 per cent growth in September to 500 per cent growth in October. In the future, we aim to sell 6,000 units on a monthly basis. We aim to play a big role in the electric mobility sector in India and aiming to close an investment of $200 million in the next 3 years."

According to a statement released by AMO Mobility Solutions, the company recorded single-day customer retail sales on Dhanteras in November 2021, exceeding 2,500 e-bikes, compared to just 316 units sold on Dhanteras last year. The company has also expanded its dealership network to 150 across the country.

In just three years since inception, AMO Mobility Solutions has grown more than 300 per cent in volumes, with over 120 channel partners. The company intends to grow its channel partners to over 300 in the next couple of years. AMO currently has presence in more than 100 cities across India, and intends to expand its nationwide footprint over the next two years to more than 250 cities across India.
