Greaves Electric Mobility Expands Footprint Across India

Greaves Electric Mobility, the e-mobility business of Greaves Cotton Limited, has received over 5,000 enquiries for potential dealership opportunities from multiple towns and cities across the country. According to a statement from the company, the increased interest in Greaves Electric Mobility will allow the business to expand its presence in every small town and city across the length and breadth of the country. Greaves Electric Mobility added in the statement tha the company has seen a surge in demand and achieved its highest sales recorded in Q2 FY 2022, with volumes growth of 85 per cent. Greaves Electric Mobility owns the Ampere Electric EV brand.

Ampere Electric expands dealership footprint across India. The company now says it has received over 5,000 new dealerships across India.
Commenting on this, Roy Kurian, COO, Ampere Electric said, "We predict a more lucrative festive season thanks to a strong ecosystem including easy financing options, attractive offers, and excellent dealer experience. We are seeing a massive surge in dealership enquiries with over 5000+ enquiries coming from various parts of the country. The plan is to meet this rise in demand by establishing EV dealership networks from Kashmir to Kanyakumari."

The electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers from Greaves are built for long-distance daily travels and can be charged easily at any plug point, the company said in a statement. Every new dealership inquiry is an opportunity to seed clean-tech EVs, as well as empower local residents with employment opportunities, provide excellent aftermarket service and spare parts to ensure millions of commuters have an uninterrupted journey, the statement added. Greaves Finance, the company's non-banking finance arm, is also working to empower every person with personal electric mobility solutions. The company describes itself as one of India's fastest-growing electric vehicle providers with more than 1,00,000 customers.
