Greaves Electric Mobility Records Highest Sales In Q2 FY 2022

- Greaves Electric Mobility say 85 per cent increase in sales in Q2 FY22
- As of Oct 25, the company has sold 5,000 electric 2- and 3-wheelers
- The demand for EV is only going to multiply says the company
Greaves Electric Mobility, the electric mobility arm of Greaves Cotton Limited, has announced 85 per cent increase in sales in the second quarter of the current financial year. Till October 25, 2021, the company has announced sales of 5,000 units of electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, and is anticipating a prosperous festive season ahead. Greaves has also announced festive offers and easy financing solutions on various products to keep the sales momentum going.

Roy Kurian, COO, Ampere Electric, said, "We sold over 5000 units in October, with a sizeable demand emerging from non-metro regions. Buoyed by strong sales, robust finance and after sales support, we are committed to accelerate India's transition to EVs. The demand for EV is only going to multiply and as a leader in e-mobility, we recognize that building an ecosystem with the buyer at the center is important. We have witnessed significant growth in partners willing to join hands with us to expand our network."

In recent months, Greaves Electric Mobility has tied up with institutions like Greaves Finance, HDFC Bank, Credit Fair, Shriram, Paytail and SBI. According to Greaves Electric Mobility, these partnerships will make EVs affordable and in reach of the common man, and will accelerate faster adoption of EVs. Greaves Electric recently launched the Magnus EX, a comfortable family scooter with an extended range of 121 km (as certified by the Automotive Research Association of India).
Greaves is also developing an electric vehicle ecosystem, and has recently launched India's first multi-brand EV retail store, Auto EVMart. Greaves now has an unparalleled retail footprint of nearly 7000+ touchpoints, 12,000 mechanics on staff and a dedicated on-call support team to address the needs of EV buyers.
