Uber Cab Rides 25 per cent Cheaper This Diwali
Now that Diwali is almost upon us, companies are going all out to spread the festive cheer amongst its customers. Latest case in point, Uber. The US-based start-up that allows users to hire luxury cars via its mobile app yesterday announced a drop in its fares by 25% albeit for a limited duration and only in Delhi.
That sounds like quite the deal for a time of the year that demands extensive traveling. With the 25% drop in fares, here are a few examples to help you understand how the slashed Uber fares compare to other modes of transport:
