Pros
- The Raider stands out in the commuter motorcycle segment due to its sporty and distinctive design.
- It has a refined and responsive 125cc engine with minimal vibrations even at higher speeds.
- TVS offers the Raider with a lot of features that make it a unique buying proposition.
- Its light and flickable nature make it easy to manage in daily riding conditions.
- The competitive pricing and long equipment list make for good value in its segment.
Cons
- A wider rear tyre would have enhanced the Raider's sporty appearance and road presence.
- The SmartXonnect connectivity package is not standard across all variants of the Raider.
- The Eco and Power modes offer only mild throttle responses and don't feel too different to most riders.
- Its aggressive LED headlamp styling may not appeal to all buyers.
- The rear drum brake setup on lower variants does not align with its sporty positioning.
Verdict
The TVS Raider 125 offers a nice mix of sporty appeal and a commuter motorcycle's practicality. What's nice is that it also offers adequate performance, modern features, comfortable ergonomics, and easy handling without compromising on fuel efficiency or affordability.
Sameer Contractor mentioned it exceedingly well in his review:
"It is in no doubt as practical as commuters get. But it's the fun-to-ride quotient that will attract buyers, which makes it a nearly complete package."
If your priority is a stylish and feature-packed everyday motorcycle that feels more exciting than the rest of the 125cc motorcycles, the Raider deserves a quick look. However, if you prefer a more conservative design or distinct variations from its riding modes, then its strengths may not stand out in everyday riding.

- Good Mileage Value for Money with Excellent Features but i think Comfort Could Be Better4.0SPLIT SEAT(Petrol)Raider’s digital display, good fuel efficiency, and the stylish build are perfect for everyday use. It’s smooth, economical, and has great features for its price. Truly value for money but the seat gets uncomfortable during long trips. Handling is easy, especially in traffic, but it could use some extra padding in the seat.By MayurPosted on: Nov 04, 2024 02:04 PM31

- Feedback on TVS Raider Connect Variant2.0SINGLE SEAT(Petrol)Dear TVS Team, I recently purchased the TVS Raider Connect variant a couple of months ago, and I wanted to share my feedback regarding my experience so far. While I was excited about the additional features that come with this variant, such as the connectivity options, I have found that the price difference of ?10,000 compared to the standard variant may not be justified. The features, like call attend and hang-up options, are not as functional as I expected. I still need to stop the bike to answer calls, which defeats the purpose of having these features. Additionally, the user interface of the screen feels quite basic, lacking menu toggle options that would enhance usability. I believe improvements in these areas could greatly enhance the overall riding experience. I hope my feedback reaches the appropriate team and contributes to future enhancements. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, Mohd shoiebBy Mohd ShoiebPosted on: Oct 04, 2024 07:35 PM00
- Long trips k liye nahi bani hai ye3.0SPLIT SEAT(Petrol)After a year i can say it’s been a good commuter bike. The engine performance is smooth, and the fuel efficiency is excellent. It handles well in city traffic, and the suspension does a decent job of absorbing bumps. However, the seat comfort could be improved for longer rides. The design is sporty, but the lack of advanced features is noticeable. It’s a solid choice for daily rides but not the best for long trips.By Jay KalindarPosted on: Sep 27, 2024 11:35 AM00
