Pros
- Good riding quality along with great cruising abilities.
- Spacious and comfortable.
- Maintains safety and security to a good level
- Quality material used in interior designing.
Cons
- The last two seats can be used only by kids or adults with short height for a comfortable journey.
- Only available in diesel; no petrol variant on sale
Verdict
Tata Hexa is reasonably priced along with a touch of comfort and a quality amount of safety measures. It is a tough competition for all other SUV models. The competitors of Hexa at present are Mahindra XUV500 and Toyota Innova Crysta.

- More power available on the diesel

- There's a hint of body roll
- Low on power at lower rpms
- Understeers when you take a corner
Verdict
Mahindra is offering some new colours on the XUV500 - Crimson Red and Mystic copper, both of which we did not get to see; but the Crimson Red looked promising on the presentation board. Mahindra will hope the refresh brings its customer base back into M&M showrooms and more importantly, back to driving the once popular XUV500.
