2018 Indian Roadmaster Elite Teased; Launch Soon

Polaris-owned Indian Motorcycle has started teasing the 2018 Roadmaster Elite on its social media handles. The Indian Roadmaster of one of the brand's more luxurious motorcycles and gets additional features and paint work with the Elite version. The cruiser was first showcased internationally in July last year and has production limited to just 300 units globally. The Roadmaster Elite will go on sale in the next few days and you can expect the motorcycle to carry a price tag well over the Rs. 40 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2018 Indian Roadmaster Elite distinguishes itself more potently over the standard range with the custom bike-inspired black and blue paint scheme that takes 30 hours to complete with plenty of chrome all over. The cruiser also comes with 23K gold leaf badging on the fuel tank and lowers.
The Roadmaster is already loaded on tech, and the 2018 Elite version adds the Ride Command system, a 300-watt premium audio system, passenger armrests, billet aluminum passenger and driver floorboards, a premium touring console, and stylish pinnacle mirrors.
Power continues to come from the same 1811 cc 'Thunder-Stroke' V-twin engine that is tuned to produce 139 Nm of torque. This motor comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox and final belt drive. The cruiser also comes with a host of lockable saddlebags, and also gets ABS and navigation as standard.

Indian Motorcycle is yet to confirm the launch date for the new 2018 Roadmaster Elite. The cruiser is likely to debut in the next few weeks and will be followed up with the 2018 Indian Springfield Dark Horse. The model will continue to come into the country as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
