2022 Audi A8 L Facelift: Price Expectation

The 2022 Audi A8 L is all set to be launched in India today and the model has received quite a significant modification compared to its predecessor. The new Audi A8 L gets a healthy dose of cosmetic updates on the outside while the cabin is a step up in terms of layout and advanced tech. Hence, the new model is expected to be a bit costlier compared to the outgoing model and we expect ex-showroom prices for the new Audi A8 L to begin from Rs. 1.10 Crore. The German carmaker begun accepting pre-bookings for the A8 L for a token amount of Rs. 10 lakh.

The 2022 Audi A8 L gets an updated dashboard with two displays that are 10.1-inch and 8.6-inch in size with an option for a head-up display.
In terms of design, the front and the rear of the 2022 Audi A8 L have received major changes, as the front end now features a wider Singleframe grille, with bold chrome on its surrounding. The side air intakes are more upright, while the digital Matrix LED headlights too have been redesigned. In profile, the 2022 Audi A8 L retains its progressive character lines, and it also gets a new set of alloy wheels. The rear section gets new OLED taillights with customisable signature light patterns and a continuous, segmented light strip. The diffuser insert is also redesigned with horizontal bars.

The A8 L comes with relaxation seats with numerous adjustment options and a footrest on the back of the front passenger seat.
On the inside, the 2022 Audi A8 L gets an updated dashboard with two displays that are 10.1-inch and 8.6-inch in size with an option for a head-up display. The car also gets a fully digital virtual cluster, and a sporty multi-functional steering wheel. As for the rear cabin, it's spacious and comes with a bunch of premium creature comforts and tech. The A8 L comes with relaxation seats with numerous adjustment options and a footrest on the back of the front passenger seat. Apart from 18 pneumatic cushions, electrically adjustable comfort headrests, and an optional continuous centre console, the 2022 Audi A8 L also gets optional fold-out tables, four-zone automatic air conditioning, and two 10.1-inch displays at the rear.

the 2022 Audi A8 facelift will get a 3.0-litre TFSI V6 coupled to a 48V mild-hybrid system, developing 340 bhp and 500 Nm of torque.
Under the hood, the 2022 Audi A8 facelift will get a 3.0-litre TFSI V6 coupled to a 48V mild-hybrid system, developing 340 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with a Quattro all-wheel-drive system as standard. There could also be a 4.0-litre TFSI version on offer, that develops 460 bhp and 660 Nm of torque. One highlight of the V8 is the cylinder on-demand system (COD), which temporarily deactivates four cylinders for better fuel efficiency.
