The Ducati Scrambler 1100 has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 10.91 lakh. We tell about the difference between the three variants of the motorcycle.
The Scrambler 1100 is available in three variants - the base Scrambler 1100, Scrambler 1100 Special, and Scrambler 1100 Sport. The Scrambler 1100 is the top-of-the-line model in the Scrambler family and it has a bigger engine and more technology. The Scrambler 1100 Special is priced at Rs. 11.12 lakh (ex-showroom), and the Scrambler 1100 Sport is priced at Rs. 11.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Scrambler is the new entry-level offering in Ducati's line-up, and while we don't get the smaller Scrambler Sixty2, the Italian bike maker is all set to introduce the larger Ducati Scrambler 1100 in India very soon. The model was globally revealed last year and packs in a bigger engine and more power than the standard 803 cc version. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 will be positoned above the 803 model and naturally so, will command a higher price tag. Like other Ducati offerings, this one too will come as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and we expect the Scrambler 1100 to be priced around Rs. 11 lakh (ex-showroom) when launched.
The new service from Maruti Suzuki India will be a 24x7 assistance service and will be available across 251 cities and will have 250 motorcycle to begin with.
