Suzuki Motorcycle India registered a domestic sale of  53,058 units in November 2018, as against 42,722 units that were sold during the same period last year. The company witnessed a year-on-year growth of 24.19 per cent for last month, backed by new product launches and an updated line-up. Suzuki's cumulative sales for November 2018 stood at 56,531 units (domestic+exports), a hike of 13.86 per cent over 49,647 units that were sold during November 2017.

Jawa Motorcycles dealerships are all set to begin operations in India in December 2018. While there is no confirmation on which cities will first get the Jawa dealerships, sources have told us that the showrooms will be operations by mid-December.

US-based motorcycle maker Cleveland CycleWerks (CCW) commenced operations in India earlier this year with the Ace Deluxe and Misfit motorcycles, which were priced at Rs. 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The company, however, has now decided to slash prices on the Ace Deluxe by a healthy Rs. 38,000, and the bike is now priced at Rs. 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). The price reduction is introductory and limited to first 200 orders for the motorcycle. The move is intended to help the brand gain momentum in the country as it establishes its network and operations. The Misfit does not get a price cut for now.

The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X is the latest offering from the bike maker to get Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS). The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X ABS is priced at Rs. 2.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is already available for bookings at dealerships. Launched earlier this year, the Thunderbird 500X is the factory-custom version based on the standard model and gets a younger appeal with more vibrant colours or the fuel tank, flat handlebar, alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. With the price hike for the ABS version, the Thunderbird 500X is also the most expensive single-cylinder offering at present from the manufacturer.

Bajaj Auto has rolled out the 2019 edition of the Pulsar 150 motorcycle in India priced at Rs. 64,998 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Bajaj Pulsar 150 2019 "Neon" collection, as the company calls it, comes with new colours and graphics, in contrast with the black paint scheme. The Pulsar Neon collection is offered on the base trim with the rear drum brake and is being targeted at the entry-level space in the 150 cc motorcycle segment.
