Mahindra has earmarked a capital expenditure (CAPEX) of Rs. 9,000 crore for its business from which Rs. 3000 crore have been allocated for EVs.

Mahindra is planning to launch seven SUVs and two EVs by 2026 and has allocated Rs. 6,000 crores for new ICE SUVs and Rs. 3,000 crore for EVs.

The growth in the auto business is primarily attributed to a strong quarterly performance where the sales of SUVs went up by 18 per cent at 1,06,333 units as compared to 90,481 units sold in the same quarter last year.

Skoda Auto India has become the newest automaker to offer extensions on warranty and maintenance services to its customer. The carmaker has announced that it will be extending the validity of the aforementioned services to support its customers during the ongoing lockdown.

Maruti has collaborated with Airox Nigen Equipments, SAM Gas Products and Gaskon Engineers to increase the production of oxygen generators.
