- The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno seems to be in the early stages of testing
- This will be the second mid-life facelift for the Baleno in India
- The Baleno facelift will come with revised styling and updated features
A test mule of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift has been spotted testing in India. The prototype model was caught testing on camera by a YouTuber, near Delhi/NCR, and the video posted by him hints that the updated Baleno will come with refreshed exterior styling and features. Now, this will be the second mid-life facelift for the premium hatchback, which was previously updated in 2019. In fact, it is quite common for Maruti Suzuki to introduce multiple facelifts of a car before the company introduces a new-gen model. And considering there have been no talks about a new-gen Baleno, the company has probably decided to give another facelift to the car to keep it relevant.

Updates made to the Baleno facelift will include - a pair of new LED taillamps, new alloy wheels, a new front grille and revised headlights with new LED daytime running lamps
The updated Baleno still appears to be in the early stages of development, and is heavily camouflaged, so, there isn't much to talk about the design and styling. Having said that, based on the exposed sections we can see that the car will see some major cosmetic changes. These include a pair of new LED taillamps, new alloy wheels, a new front grille and revised headlights with new LED daytime running lamps. The images do not reveal the interior of the car however, we do expect the Baleno facelift's cabin to get its fair share of updates.
