Chevrolet India goes aggressive in a bid to boost sales

General Motors is trying everything to escalate its sales in the Indian market, but nothing seems to be working out in its favour. In an another effort to lure car buyers, the company is offering exciting benefits on its cars. (Also read: Discounts and offers on Hyundai cars)
Except for the Cruze and Captiva, Chevrolet India is offering low down payment and extended warranty scheme on all its models. Under the car exchange scheme, down payment for the cars including Spark, Beat, Sail hatchback, Sail sedan and Enjoy will be waived off completely. The Beat and Spark buyers will additionally get an annual insurance policy in just Rs 1.
Other benefits offered with the cars are given below (As per company's claim)
- Absolutely no maintenance cost under Free 3 year Chevrolet Promise scheme
- No cost of extended warranty for 4th year
- Insurance at Rs 1.
If a buyer wishes not to exchange his/her car, the company will still be offering the above mentioned benefits, along with low down payment and EMI schemes.

Chevrolet Beat: Down payment - Rs 63999 (Petrol), Rs 77999 (Diesel); EMI - Rs 4999 (Petrol) Rs 5999 (Diese)
Chevrolet Sail hatchback: Down payment - Rs 68999 (Petrol), Rs 83999 (Diesel); EMI - Rs 5999 (Petrol) Rs 6999 (Diesel)
Chevrolet Sail sedan: Down payment - Rs 82999 (Petrol), Rs 1,05,544 (Diesel); EMI - Rs 6999 (Petrol) Rs 7999 (Diesel)
