Crayon Snow+ Low-Speed Electric Scooter Launched; Priced At Rs. 64,000

Homegrown EV maker, Crayon Motors, has launched its latest Snow+ low-speed electric scooter in the Indian market at a price of Rs. 64,000, in four colours – Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow, Classic Grey, and Super White. Promising a 2-year warranty, Crayon Motors says the Snow+ low-speed electric scooter offers comfort and a cost of running that is as low as 14 paise per km. Moreover, the company shall announce two new high-speed models with mileage from 70kmpc to 130kmpc, by the end of this month.

Mayank Jain, co-founder & director, Crayon Motors said, “Customers remain at the heart of all that we do. We are thrilled to introduce Snow+ in the Indian markets. We began with low-speed e-scooters and are progressing towards high-speed. Low-speed e-scooters are a reasonable purchase for riders' daily commutes within the city. Customers' expectations are met by these scooters, which provide them with a cost-effective and pleasurable travel experience with no fuss.”
The Crayon Snow+ low-speed electric scooter features a classic design language with a bulbous LED headlamp, turn indicators integrated on the front apron, chrome garnish on the edge running below and to the sides of the scooter. It sits on a pair of 10-inch tubeless tyres, disc brakes at both ends, and enjoys a ground clearance of 155mm. The electric scooter Snow+ also offers several additional features such as a digital speedometer, central locking, USB charging for mobile, anti-theft, navigation facility, and a large enough boot as a storage space. It has a loading capacity of 150kg.

Power in the Crayon Snow+ low-speed electric scooter comes from a 250-Watt BLDC motor. The company did not reveal the power output of the Snow+ low-speed electric scooter but did reveal that a 48/60V VRLA/Li-ion battery packs in decent thrust. It also has a top speed of 25kmph, and so doesn't require a driving license, registration, etc to ride on the streets.
Crayon Motors has partnered with financing firms to provide financing alternatives, including Bajaj Finserv, Manappuram Finance, IDFC First, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Zest Money, ShopSe, and Paytail, among others. The Crayon Snow+ low-speed electric scooter is available at 100 retail locations in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, among other states.
