Highlights

Hyundai has released the first teaser image of a 708bhp Sonata which will debut at SEMA on 4 November, 2014. The monstrous Sonata has been jointly-developed with Bisimoto Engineering.

This is of course a one-off model but where does all that power come from? Well, under the hood is a 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder engine that has been equipped with a Turbonetics turbocharger, a Spearco intercooler and a Golden Eagle intake manifold.

There are also Arias forged pistons, R&R steel connecting rods and Deatschwerks fuel injectors not to forget an AEM Infinity 6 ECU and a Magnafuel 750 fuel pump. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission which features a Bisimoto-spec Action Ironman clutch.

This one also receives changes in the aerodynamics department; it comes equipped with a Bisimoto front splitter, a Wasp Composites aerodynamic styling package and 18-inch aluminum wheels.

Inside, there's a Racepack IQ3 digital instrument cluster, AEM wideband gauges and a roll cage.
