Highlights

Land Rover unveiled the Evoque Autobiography Dynamic, a sportier version of the Range Rover Evoque, which gets more power and according to JLR better handling capabilities. The new Evoque Autobiography Dynamic will go on sale in the international markets by the end of 2014.

This Autobiography Dynamic version of the Evoque comes with an upgraded 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor engine which will be capable of producing 281bhp. The power tally has been upped by 44bhp than the standard version and the engine comes mated to a new nine-speed ZF-sourced automatic gearbox.

Land Rover says that the steering on the Evoque autobigrphy Dynamic has been updated and specially tuned for greater on-centre precision. The suspension too has been worked upon and hence it gets firmer springs and recalibirated dampers.

It also gets an Active all-wheel drive system and Torque Vectoring by Braking (TVB) as standard. This variant of the Evoque will be available in both three and five-door configurations, globally. Inside the Evoque will come in six leather shades with an option of sports or premium climate seats.

Having sold close to 2.7 lakh units of the Evoque since its launch in 2011, we can't imagine why Land Rover decided not to go in for a more powerful RS-badged Evoque. Whatever the reason, we still like this one all the more.
