Mattel Gives You a Chance to Design the Next Hot Wheels Car

Hot Wheels has always been the first love for many of us and if you weren't happy with the ones they developed, here's a chance to design one of your on. Thanks to a partnership between Mattel and Quirky, you might be able to develop and sell a Hot Wheels car.
Quirky is a crowdsourcing organization that solicits product ideas from anyone on the internet. It's a great platform for designers and car lovers to submit their ideas-whether it's a fully-fledged design for a new product or an idea for ways to streamline production of one of Quirky's current offerings. You will of course receive a cut in the royalties as well, if the product goes up for sale.
Mattel's announcement about its partnership with Quirky, gives those people, who never stopped playing with toys, a chance to create their own car. But it's not just restricted to Hot Wheels, you can also help develop toys from Matchbox, Barbie, Fischer-Price, and Thomas the Tank Engine.
Are you still 'toying' with the idea then (pun intended)? Well, it's now or never, visit their website now and start sketching!
