NFS Underground 2 - Top 5 Cars

- NFS Underground 2 is definitely one of the top games
- There are some fabulous cars used in the game
- Heres taking a look at some of them
While NFS Underground 2 has some pretty cool cars on offer, there are some which certainly manage to create fabulous impressions. Here are some of the top choices that you should not miss.

Mazda RX-8
The Mazda RX-8 is one of the most attractive vehicles in NFS Underground 2. You will feel the wonderful steering wheel after going to the Mazda RX-8 once you have had your fill of other regular vehicles. The rev limit of 9,000 RPM with extra nitrous oxide will make this fun to drive, especially in the manual form. The developers have also come out with several scintillating body kits for the car.
Peugeot 106
This NFS Underground 2 vehicle is certainly one of the best ways to start your career in the game. The boxy design is appealing and you can try choosing it over the regular Corsa when you begin your Career Mode. It offers nifty handling especially when you are going around tighter URL-based circuits. The Peugeot 106 handles like a dream, especially across hairpin bends.
Hyundai Coupe
The Hyundai Coupe may or may not be your pick but it is ideal if you are looking for that burst of pizzazz to simply sail through your career mode. While you can reach a maximum of 210 kmph and it may seem heavier to you initially as compared to the Peugeot 106, the car has an appeal and distinct charm of its own.

Toyota Supra MKIV
You may find it hard to pick between the R34 GT-R and Toyota Supra although the latter will be a fun challenge for your driving abilities on the PlayStation. This one is the most menacing car in the entire game, taking its huge power into account along with its rear-wheel drive characteristics.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII
This is one of the classic cars that you will greatly enjoy in NFS Underground 2. This offers a fabulous AWD (all-wheel drive) setup with an impeccably tuned four cylinder engine. It is possibly one of the most sorted cars in the entire game. You can simply go for the Evolution VIII instead of looking for a hot hatch. This will help you successfully conquer the Underground Racing League.

The Mazda RX-8 is a more balanced vehicle of the lot while the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII is a highly capable all-round vehicle. However, the other cars also tick off their own boxes in terms of appeal, power, and performance alike.
