Renault Duster AWD Launching on September 24, 2014

Highlights
Renault has officially announced the launch of the Duster AWD (All Wheel Drive) in India on September 24, a day before the Navratri begins. To be based on the RxZ diesel variant, the 4x4 will be positioned as the top-end variant of the line-up.

Powering the Duster AWD will be the same 1.5-litre K9K diesel unit that is capable of churning out a maximum power output of 108.5bhp and 248Nm of peak torque. The power will be transmitted to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Since the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) version of the compact SUV will be based on the RxZ, it will come loaded with all the features offered on the RxZ trim.
Renault India is supposedly working on the facelifted Duster as well, which we believe will be launched early next year. However, the company hasn't officially said anything about that.

Renault, the French car manufacturer is currently working on all-new subcompact SUV for the Indian market. The upcoming subcompact SUV is internally codenamed as HBC, which has been spotted doing rounds on the Indian roads amidst lockdown. The company was expected to unveil the product at this year's Auto Expo, which didn't happen eventually. After failed attempts with Captur and Pulse, the carmaker is now eyeing for volume space with an all-new product. It was also expected that the subcompact SUV would be launched in India by mid-2020. As of now, there is no official timeline confirmed by the company yet.
