Rolls-Royce Reveals the Phantom Zenith Collection

- Rolls-Royce to cease production of the Phantom Coupe models
- The Phantom Zenith collection will be the last of the Coupe models
- Only 50 examples will be built and all of them have already been booked
The production of the celebrated Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe series will soon be coming to a close. But the British manufacturer thought it would be a good idea to give one of its best-selling models a last hurrah. Enter Phantom Zenith, the last in the bespoke line of Phantom Coupe series. The Phantom Zenith collection gets a variety of bespoke bits and pieces which make this car one of the most luxurious models to have ever come out of Goodwood. The split-tailgate now also houses a glass shelf along with a champagne fridge and eight Rolls-Royce glasses.
(Glass shelf and champagne glasses pop out of the trunk)The customers were also invited to specify a bespoke picnic hamper, which is a first for any Rolls-Royce car. One of the most interesting bits is the front fascia where a removable aluminium case sits which is engraved with the identification number of the car along with an application of English Blacking, a technique mainly used in fine gun-making. The very precise co-ordinates of the assembly line from where the car came is etched on the Blacking as well. Rolls-Royce says that all the cars from the Phantom Zenith collection have drawn inspiration from older models of the Phantom Limousine. There is a plethora of customisation options to choose from when it comes to the colour scheme of the exteriors and the interiors.
(Removable Aluminium case with the serial number of the car)2016 is the last year when the Phantom Coupe models will be produced and only 50 models of the Phantom Zenith Collection will be manufactured. Unsurprisingly, all the 50 models have already been commissioned by customers across the world. So, if you were looking to order one for yourself after reading this story, you will have to face disappointment because Rolls-Royce has taken the last of orders for manufacturing these bespoke beauties.
