When you're the kind of rich who use Maybachs and Bentleys as their daily ride, it really gets difficult as to how can you differentiate your ride from the one next mansion away. Fortunately, bespoke builders exist to make your car look uber exclusive and the one that will make you stand out in the most swanky or ostentatious way possible. In this case, it is the latter and Montreal-based custom house Scaldarsi has left no stone unturned (or jewel) to ensure that the Mercedes-Maybach S600 gets all the attention possible as the Emperor I.
The elegance of the Mercedes-Maybach S600 has been replaced with the custom built body kit on the Emperor I that gets a completely new and massive rose gold finished grille that is accompanied by the new bumper with vertical air intakes and incorporates LED DRLs. The bonnet gets the striking muscular lines rising over the rather stock headlight cluster. The remainder of the body kit comprises of side skirts and rear diffuser, while every bit of chrome on the S600 has been replaced with the rose gold finish. The complete design overhaul is further complemented by custom alloy wheels.
Move inside and there is an equal amount of bespoke luxury and creativity thrown in for good measure. The dashboard gets finished in crocodile pattern leather, while there is plenty of fine wood all over. But wait, there's more! Customers can choose from whopping 24 colours for the leather, 24 types of animal hides, 78 types of wood, and 16 exterior body colours available. So yeah, you can let your imagination go wild. Interestingly, the folks at Scaldarsi have managed to keep the dials and infotainment system pretty much stock.
The customisation options nevertheless do not just end at the car itself. Customers can also choose for leather luggage to match the Emperor I's trim, while you also get a jewel-themed key fob as well. To make things extra special, you can also order for a custom Rolex watch to match the car. Now that's some extraordinary amount of luxury we say!
Coming to matter's of the heart, Scaldarsi has relied upon the folks at BRABUS to power this behemoth. So, you get a 6.3-litre twin-turbocharged V12 from the Brabus Rocket 900 that puts out an absolutely bonkers 888hp of power and can propel from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
Amazed much? If you are, then be ready to shell out $1.5 million for each of the 10 examples that Scaldarsi plans to create. Furthermore, the Montreal base custom house plans to introduce the Emperor II, which needless to say will feature equal or more luxury to offer with the Mercedes-AMG S65 Coupe as the donor car. This will be followed by the Emperor III based on the Bentley Bentayga, Emperor IV based on the Mercedes-AMG G65 and the Emperor V based on the "wait-for-it" Bugatti Chiron.
