The car gets some new features too, and yet holds on to its inherent strengths that made this SUV-inspired entry hatchback popular to begin with. It has done enough to stay relevant, credible and capable. And yet it remains good value, offers a fair bit of kit at the entry end of the market, and looks pretty cool while doing it. Maruti Suzuki has done a fine job on the Ciaz facelift. The car looks and feels much more premium now, the new mild hybrid petrol engine and the overall package does make for a compelling look at the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. However, On the highway, the car takes time to build up speed. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz was never the one for spirited driving, but a little more urgency from the engine would have been welcome.
