Expected Launch :
2024-12-20
Expected Price
4.7 - 4.9 Lakh

What's New?

Kawasaki used to previously sell the Versys X-300 in India but later discontinued it due to poor sales owing to a high sticker price. The company still sells the Versys X-300 in the international market. Now, a test mule of the Versys X-300 has been spotted on a test confirming the reintroduction of the motorcycle. This time, however, it is hoped that Kawaski will price the motorcycle better and also shed some weight along with that.

The new Versys X-300 is likely to continue a similar design as the previous model with the same headlamp, visor, and scooped-up seat. The bike will ride on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. Suspension duties will be handled by a telescopic fork setup at the front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking duties will be handled by disc brakes on both ends, aided by dual-channel ABS.

Powering the Versys X-300 will be the same 296cc engine that does duty on the Ninja 300. The motor is rated to produce 38.7 bhp and 27 Nm and will come mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Once launched, the Versys X-300 will compete against the KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

Other Upcoming Kawasaki Models are the KLX 230 and Z400
