2017 NDTV Carandbike Awards: PR And Communication Award Winners

- The jury rounds were held in Mumbai
- The Platina ad brought forth the bike's comfort factor
- VW India, Audi India, and HMSI were the other winners in the category
But as always, the award ceremony is all about celebrating the winners and in this case it was the PR and Communications awards. Like every year, this year too we had a distinguished panel of industry experts who were part of the jury and you know they are a distinguished lot when they're people like songwriter and ad-man Prasoon Joshi, Managing Editor of The Pioneer, Kushan Mitra, NDTV's Shruti Singh Verma and Siddharth Vinayak Patankar, political analyst Mr. Dorab Sopariwala, Prema Sagar, Mr. Sam Balsara and ad-film maker Vinil Mathew.
The jury rounds were held in Mumbai, where the PR and communication teams from the industry came and presented the jury with what they've achieved in the course of the year. The jury had to scan through each and every ad as well as innovation that the entrants brought forth and after careful assessment, they zeroed down on these winners. The one observation that all the jury members made is that the companies are now weaving stories about the product rather than bringing out the product. The story helps people relate and grasps their attention which eventually converts into a sale.
Here's a list of all the winners who got their hands on the prestigious prize.

The ad for the VW's newest sub-compact sedan talked more about the product and how the features were not only the best in class but also affordable.
Best PR Team: Honda Motorcycles India Limited

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India
For the teams effort at handling the Navi brand and Launch. It was a unique concept, the Navi, and to put it out prominently and make people give it a second look was clearly a task well handled by the Honda team.
Best Innovation In Communication: Audi India

Audi India launched an app this year where you would get all the information at the touch of a button. So, in a way the company has done away with press releases and all the information right from the specification, to prices to even car requests for media persons can be done via this app.
