All-New Lexus NX 350h Teased Ahead Of India Launch; Pre-Bookings Open

Japanese luxury carmaker, Lexus, is all geared up to introduce the all-new NX 350h SUV in the country. The automaker has officially commenced pre-bookings for the SUV, which is expected to go on sale in the coming weeks. Moreover, the brand also dropped the first teaser giving us the first glimpse of the soon-to-be-launched NX 350h. The SUV made its global debut in June last year. It will be based on the GA-K version of the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform.

Naveen Soni, President Lexus India, said “The Lexus NX, because of its agility, spacious functionalities, and sportiness, has been one of the most loved models by our guests in India. We are eager to launch this new NX at the earliest and are confident that the NX is sure to set a new benchmark in the luxury market.”
Visually, the all-new Lexus NX 350h will sport an aggressive front design with a new blacked-out spindle grille and sleek headlamps featuring L-shaped DRLs. It also gets C-shaped air intakes with fog lamps which emphasises the overall look of the SUV. At the rear, it gets an elongated light bar, which is located across the centre of the vehicle combined with the independently positioned L-shaped taillamps. Moreover, the company branding is placed above the license plate that symbolizes the next generation of Lexus. Dimensionally, the new Lexus NX 350h will measure 4,661 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, 1,661 mm in height. The wheelbase will stand at 2690 mm.

On the inside, the NX 350h will sport a neatly-design cabin based on the Tazuna Concept. It is likely to come with a 9.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a 14-inch navigation system, wireless charging, a Lexus premium sound system with 10 speakers, and more. As for safety, the SUV will be equipped with advanced safety technologies like an e-latch system, safe exit assist, panoramic view monitor, advanced driver assistance technology with an advanced park with the remote function, pre-crash safety, front cross-traffic alert, radar cruise control, lane departure alert, lane change assist, proactive driving assist, ABS with EBD, traction control, front and rear parking sensors and more.
Globally, the Lexus NX SUV comes with a wide range of powertrain options. The 350h SUV uses a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder engine with the brand's electric drive. The SUV is expected to be powered by the same unit that makes 236 bhp of maximum power. The engine comes mated to an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT) and paddle shifters sending power to all four wheels.
