Audi Explains 5G Connectivity for Vehicles

What is 5G connectivity all about?
According to Audi, the fifth generation of cellular generation technology has the potential to be 100 times faster than the current 4G LTE. If we even talk about the smartphone world, 5G is already a trend so why not in cars as well? Audi mentioned that the infrastructure is taking longer than what they had thought and anticipated and they even talked about how the smartphones which are 5G are nothing smarter or faster than the 4G connectivity. This is the main reason why the whole process is taking so much time. Audi and Verizon are making sure that the entire thing is successful and they can be the first to do so in the US. We must not forget that Audi is also the first to even experiment with V2X communication and it was a success.

Audi tries to say that it is the latest deal to bring faster network speeds to new model vehicles with more advanced software needs than analogue cars of the past. Audi even went ahead and mentioned that this type of advanced connectivity will set a path for features like augmented mobile services, connectivity-enabled innovations for the automated future of driving and new driver-assistance features. Audi and Verizon will be the first automakers to bring in-vehicle Wi-Fi and even connectivity as 4G LTE. The first Audi which had this feature was the Audi A3 Sedan which was launched in 2015. Audi did a lot of success in the car world with that car. Audi is anyway known to be one of the best brands when it comes to cars. People are crazy over Audi and it still holds a great impact on car lovers to date.
