Audi unveiled a new V6 3.0-litre TDI clean diesel engine in Austria at the Vienna Motor Symposium. The engine will be powerful than its predecessor and the people at Audi say that it is fuel efficient too.
We all know Audi's V6 3.0 TDI, but the engine has evolved into a Euro 6-compliant clean diesel with a displacement of 2,967 cc and a 90-degree cylinder bank angle. Tuned to deliver 216bhp and 270bhp, the torque will be in the range of 600Nm.
It has become more powerful than its predecessor and 13% more fuel efficient, no wonder Audi decided to go with the 'clean diesel' tag.
