Audi Teases Activesphere Concept Ahead Of 2023 Reveal

- Externally the car is not too different from the Audi A5
- The interior has been designed for a fully autonomous future
- This car will be shown in 2023
Audi has been teasing a number of sphere-branded concept cars for over a year. These cars represent the futuristic design language of the German giant but also point towards an autonomous future. So far the three concepts that have been shown off include a sporty drop-top, a four-door coupe and a crossover vehicle that seems to be something between a minivan and mini SUV. Now there is a fourth concept car called the Activesphere which looks like a tall A5 coupe.
“The Audi Activesphere concept, which is set to debut at the beginning of 2023, will offer maximum variability for an active lifestyle – both on and off-road,” said Audi in an official press release.
Now it is yet to clarify if this will be a 2-door or a 4-door car. The singular long shot of the car indicates a 2-door coupe. The interesting bit is all the sphere concepts feature designs that are similar to Audi’s current production cars which could mean that these concepts could be a reality very soon with minimal modifications.
The bigger changes are on the inside where these vehicles have been designed for a driver-less future. These cars turn into comfortable entertainment and interaction hubs. The cars have no steering wheels, clean dashboards and other futuristic technologies that are a pipe dream for the cars of today.
