Benelli Launches MyBenelli Mobile App In Europe

Benelli has introduced the MyBenelli mobile application to its range of premium bikes offered on sale in Europe. The new mobile application is downloadable for Android and iOS and will provide riders with a long list of rider-friendly information, pertaining to the motorcycle and available on real-time basis. The MyBenelli app will be available in upcoming iterations of Benelli's 500 cc and above motorcycles sold in Europe. We expect the same feature to debut on Benelli bikes sold in India as well.

New Benelli bikes of 500 cc and above, including the upcoming Benelli 1200 GT will get the MyBenelli app

The new bikes will come with a proprietary black box which is connected to the bike's ECU. Once connected to a mobile network via a SIM card, it will be able to transfer all of the motorcycle's data to a dedicated app on the owner's smartphone, the MyBenelli App. This allows the users to remain in contact with their bike, and to receive constant updates, because the device will be able to record the vehicle's routes and monitor its location at all times. In fact, users can even receive an alert via the App if vehicle movement is detected with the engine off.

The user will also be able to contact roadside assistance directly via the app if any problems are encountered. The user will also have the ability to control the motorcycle's ignition, even remotely, thanks to the innovative e-lock system. In fact, thanks to the geofence security feature, the user can program the App to send an alert whenever the vehicle leaves the set perimeter.

The MyBenelli App is also designed to notify the user about the bike's health status. This allows the user to monitor the battery status, schedule vehicle maintenance, and locate the nearest dealer to make an appointment. Via a dedicated page, the user will even be able to explore the complete Benelli motorcycle catalogue and e-shop.Users will even be able to share their riding activities on their social networks, follow other users, create their own Motoclubs, and interact with other enthusiasts thanks to a series of engaging social challenges.
