Bajaj Auto has announced that its entire product range sold in India is now compliant with Bharat Stage IV (BS-IV) emission standards. This means that all Bajaj two-wheelers and three-wheelers manufactured in the country for domestic sales will adhere to BS-IV emission regulations.

Ducati sold 55,451 bikes in 2016, posting a new sales record on the Italian two wheeler manufacturer's 90th anniversary. Overall sales were up 1.2 per cent from 54,809 bikes in 2015. The US remained Ducati's strongest market, with sales of 8,787 new bikes in 2016. In Europe too, Ducati posted impressive growth numbers - 38 per cent growth in Spain, over 20 per cent in Italy and more than 8 per cent in Germany.

BMW Motorrad has posted another record sales year, the German two wheeler manufacturer's sixth record sales in a row. In all, BMW Motorrad sold 1,45,032 motorcycles and scooters in 2016, registering a 5.9 per cent growth over the previous year, when BMW sold 1,36,963 units.

Hero MotoCorp has taken the covers off its latest indigenously designed new bike, the Glamour. The 125 cc Glamour was unveiled in Buenos Aires as Hero's first-ever new product launch outside India. It will replace the current Glamour and will be launched in India in March this year - that is also when we will get the new pricing.

Ducati has launched its flagship offering - Ducati 1299 Superleggera in the country for a staggering price of Rs. 1,12,20,000 or simply Rs. 1.12 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike was showcased at the 2016 EICMA Show and is one of the most expensive bikes available in the country today.

Bajaj Auto has announced that it will be introducing the 2017 KTM RC 390 and RC 200 in the country on 19th January. Launched in 2015, this is the first major upgrade that the RC twins get and will boast of new livery and more equipment. The updates will also keep the model relevant against rivals, especially with the new Duke range on its way later this year.

India Kawasaki Motor has opened up its new dealership in Mumbai that will be catering to new and existing owners. The dealership is set to be launched in the following days and will retail the complete range and also comes with a service centre.

Improving its middleweight monster even further, Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the 2017 Triumph Street Triple in the UK ahead of its launch in March this year. The bike now comes in three variants - S, R and the absolutely bonkers RS, and comes with more power, electronic aids and tech to keep the high speed and safety in place. The new Street Triple will be making it to India later this year.
