BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition Launched In India; Price Begins At Rs. 71.90 Lakh

BMW India has introduced a new 2022 BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition in the country in both petrol and diesel guises, at a starting price of Rs. 71.90 lakh and Rs. 73.90 lakh (ex-showroom, India) respectively. Available with the M Sport package, the BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition gets visual updates to its exterior and interior as well as receives a fresh set of features that sets it apart from the standard version of the coupe SUV. The new X4 Silver Shadow Edition is based on the X4 xDrive30i and the X4 xDrive30d variants. The special edition of the SUV is locally produced at the BMW Group India Plant in Chennai and will be available in limited numbers.

The exterior changes on the 2022 BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition include a new, angular kidney grille, a redesigned bumper and full LED headlights.

The exterior changes on the 2022 BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition include a new, angular kidney grille, a redesigned bumper done up in metallic colour with new anvil-shaped inlays in high gloss chrome, and vertically arranged reflectors and full LED headlights lowered by 10 mm. At the rear, changes include two-part wraparound LED rear taillights, a large automatic tailgate, and a free-form tailpipe in chrome finish. The exclusive edition is available in new Carbon Black, Phytonic Blue, and Alpine White paintworks.

Other features include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, three-zone automatic climate control, and a welcome light carpet. The driver-focused cockpit comes with BMW Live Cockpit Professional which includes 3D Navigation, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and a BMW Head-up Display. The rear seats now get a reclining function. The Sports seats can be electrically adjusted and come with a memory function.

At the rear, changes include two-part wraparound LED rear taillights, a large automatic tailgate, and a free-form tailpipe in chrome finish.
Mechanically, the BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition retains the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 248 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque, along with a 3.0-litre in-line 6-cylinder oil burner that makes 261 bhp and 620 Nm of peak torque. Both come mated to an 8-Speed Steptronic Sport Automatic Transmission with paddle shifters and xDrive all-wheel-drive (AWD) system as standard. The 2022 BMW X4 Silver Shadow Edition also gets BMW's adaptive suspension, automatic differential brakes/locks (ADB-X)', extended Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and hill start assist and hill descent control.
