Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is a global icon and continues to be one of the most legendary names in the world of sport. The Manchester United footballer knows how to do things in style whether on the field or off it. But ardent fans would know that Ronaldo is a massive petrolhead as well and has some extremely rare cars in his garage. And he now has the newest addition to his collection with the new Cadillac Escalade joining his fleet, which was gifted to him by his partner and model Georgina Rodriguez for his 37th birthday.

Rodriguez took to Instagram to share the surprise gift for Ronaldo documenting his first reaction to the Caddy on video. The SUV has a sticker price of $100,000 (approx. Rs. 75 lakh before taxes) and is one of the more luxurious offerings you can get your hands on. But considering the Escalade is not on sale in Europe, this is likely a private import and the final price would've surely been higher.
The Cadillac Escalade measures about 5.5 metres in length, while power comes from the 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine that develops about 414 bhp and is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. 0-100 kmph comes up in 5.9 seconds. The SUV gets 4x4 as a standard feature. Compared to other luxury SUVs, its massive size manages to give it a strong road presence.

Being an eight-seater offering, the Escalade will allow Ronaldo to take his four children to school and maybe football practice with ease. With twins on the way, the footballer could surely do with some more space. Moreover, there's plenty to keep Ronaldo and the kids comfortable in the cabin right from leather upholstery, rear entertainment screens, Wi-Fi hotspot, 19-speaker Studio Sound System with a 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference System as an option. The Cadillac Escalade also comes with plenty of safety aid including active and passive safety assistance systems including lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, automated emergency braking with front and rear pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode and more.
