F1 World Champion Max Verstappen's Honda Civic Type-R Is Up For Grabs

- Max Verstappen beat Lewis Hamilton to claim the title
- Proceeds of the sale will go towards charity.
- Max's Civic Type-R has been listed at a base price of 33,333 Euros
The last weekend saw an exciting end to the 2021 F1 season and Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen emerged as the world champion. While the end result may have been a controversial one, there's no denying that Verstappen proved his mettle throughout the year with an incredible run. And now you have a chance to own his car. No, not the championship winning F1 one but his road going and quite modest in comparison, Honda Civic Type-R. To be fair, the Type-R is exciting in its own special way as a hot hatch but we reckon it won't be pulling as many Gs as the other Honda-powered unit.

In its stock guise, the Honda Civic Type-R uses a. 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor that develops about 300 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque
Verstappen's Honda Civic Type-R is on sale and proceeds of the same will go towards the charity called Wings For Life. The car has been put up for auction by European website CarNext, which is also a sponsor for the driver. The listing shows the car is up for auction for a base price of 33,333 Euros, which is likely to be the starting bid and given that Verstappen is currently the most wanted motorsport personality in town, there will be quite a few takers for this special Civic Type-R.
The listing further states that the Honda Civic Type-R in question has over 57,000 km on the odometer and has been customised. Verstappen's Civic Type-R though has not been revealed yet and the website will reveal the car on December 17, 2021. More details on the car and the purchase will be disclosed then. We do hope there are some personal touches from the world champion that'll make the purchase all the worthwhile.
