Cars have played a huge part in Bollywood movies over the years. There are many iconic models that have been featured in movies over the last few years. Here's taking a closer look at the same:

- Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara- 1949 Buick Super Convertible. This model was reportedly used in the Second World War and is a rare model, adding to its charm. The convertible was spectacularly used in this super-hit road movie, especially in the song Khwabon Ke Parindey.
- Haathi Mere Saathi- Chevrolet Impala Convertible- This 1971 iconic Rajesh Khanna and Tanuja movie had a Chevrolet Impala Convertible that was driven by the actress. There is a charming song where the car is pushed ahead by the elephants. This was a three-speed manual transmission equipped Chevy making 189 horsepower.
- Dil Chahta Hai- Mercedes Benz 300 SL Convertible- Farhan Akhtar made this cult movie in 2001, starring Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna, and Saif Ali Khan. The road trip to Goa was done by them in this fabulous Mercedes Benz SL 300 Convertible. The design itself is appealing, with its huge logo, rectangular headlamps, and overall wind-swept look. The car was featured extensively throughout the movie, and caught the attention of numerous enthusiasts as a result.
- Taarzan The Wonder Car- DC Design Taarzan- This 2004 movie gifted Bollywood one of its most unique cars of all time! DC Designs made this custom-build vehicle named Taarzan in the movie that was reportedly priced at more than a couple of crores back then! This futuristic vehicle came out of a Toyota MR2, and offered 135-250 horsepower in reality, running on a hybrid setup. The purple colour was another big attraction.
