Highlights

Florida based portable charger manufacturer, GO PUCK announced its entry into India. GO PUCK comes with a history to it and it comes in the form of the founder himself, Blake Fuller. It was in 1999 that Blake entered the Pike Peak Hill Climb or Race into the Clouds and after having won the title of the 'Rookie of the year' he had a thought and wanted to see if he can make the 40 pound battery smaller to make his car lighter and faster.

The story led to him developing a smaller battery and eventually the GO PUCK. Looking at the product too, you understand the idea behind it and that is to keep it small and light weight, hence easy to carry around. Blake has had his hands full developing batteries for Formula 1, Indy 500 and many other race cars but the move towards making the device available for the general public was obvious. Phone's, earphones, tablets and basically anything with a USB attached can be charged with the GO PUCK.

The RAPID (Regulated Accessory Power Increase Distribution) technology, the GO PUCK can charge any device within no time. GO PUCK says that it is capable of charging any device 50% faster than any other poratble charger available in the market.

Two models of the GO PUCK are available in the market currently and you can buy it on any online store or via the company's Facebook page. The 3X is priced at Rs. 4500 and the 5X at Rs. 6500. Both these come with active mount accessories which help you place the portable charger whereever you want - on the sling of your bag or on the mount of your Go-Pro.

The company is also planning to come out with a portable Laptop charger, but that is still at the prototype stage.
