India, Bangladesh, Nepal Finalise MOU For Implementation Of BBIN Motor Vehicles Agreement

New Delhi, Mar 8 India, Bangladesh and Nepal finalised an enabling MoU to be signed by them for the implementation of the BBIN Motor Vehicles Agreement (MVA), pending ratification of the MVA by Bhutan. The MoU was finalised at a meeting of the three nations on the Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal (BBIN) MVA here on March 7-8, 2022. Bhutan participated in the meeting as an observer. The meeting was held to discuss the passenger and cargo protocols that are essential to operationalise the BBIN MVA for the regulation of passenger, personal and cargo vehicular traffic between Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal, signed on June 15, 2015.
