Bajaj Auto has expanded its Pulsar N160 lineup with the launch of the new Pulsar N160 S and Pulsar N160 SS. Powering both motorcycles is a new 165cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-valve engine that develops 18.5 PS, making it the most powerful Pulsar N160 yet. Bajaj claims a 0-60 kmph time of 4.5 seconds, the quickest in its segment.

The range-topping Pulsar N160 SS gets additional equipment including traction control, a 5-inch TFT display with Google Maps mirroring, coloured alloy wheels and revised ergonomics. Both motorcycles also feature upside-down front forks, while the SS gets dual-channel ABS and radial rear tyres.

Bajaj has priced the Pulsar N160 S at Rs. 1,33,511 and the Pulsar N160 SS at Rs. 1,42,585 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycles will be offered in Atlantic Blue, Pearl Metallic White and Brooklyn Black.

The new Pulsar N160 S and N160 SS will continue to compete in the highly competitive premium 160cc segment. Key rivals include the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, Honda SP160 and the Yamaha FZ-S Fi V4. While most rivals offer a strong mix of performance and features, Bajaj is aiming to stand out with its new 4-valve engine, ride modes, traction control and Google Maps mirroring, making the N160 SS one of the most feature-packed offerings in the segment.
