Jawa Dealerships To Be Extended To 500; Deliveries To Be Accelerated

- Jawa deliveries to be accelerated with existing production stock
- Jawa Forty-Two Sports Stripe variants garner strong customer interest
- Jawa motorcycles to increase dealership strength to 275 by August 2021
Classic Legends, the parent company of Jawa motorcycles, is gearing up to accelerate operations in a phased manner, as lockdown restrictions are relaxed state-wise across the country. While India is reeling under a deadly second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Classic Legends continued its operations during the last few months, despite the tough conditions, the company statement said. This has been possible due to the resolve and determination of the brand's workforce, the company said, adding that it has helped create a pipeline to fulfill the delivery commitments to booked customers. The company has announced that as the unlock is rolled out state-wise, customers who had booked a Jawa motorcycle will see accelerated deliveries.

The 2021 Jawa Forty-Two Sports Stripe in new colours attracted strong customer interest
"The Forty Two Sports Stripes variants gave us an invigorating start to the new year with demand surpassing our expectations. We started the innings with extremely positive media reviews followed by customers queuing up at dealerships to catch a glimpse of the three new additions and book their favourites. Even before the lockdown was imposed across the country, the new Forty Two Sports Stripe colours had raked in a strong order book for the company. It is worth mentioning that the AllStar Black came up as the unanimous first choice for customers, accounting for approximately 50 per cent of the bookings, while the other two colours, Orion Red and Sirius White adding to the rest for this new range," said Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO, Classic Legends.
"Our efforts to ramp up to cater to this demand was heavily affected by the lockdown restrictions, especially at our supplier end. While we have enhanced our capacities and capabilities, some of our suppliers, especially in the Western region, were severely affected by the pandemic. Our deliveries also suffered due to the dealerships complying with the restrictions in April and even more so, in May," he added.
