Jio And bp Partner For EV Infrastructure And Refueling Stations


- The partnership entails to be the biggest EV infrastructure player

- They will also bring the 24x7 Wild Bean Coffee brand to India
Reliance Jio and BP have partnered in India where they will launch the first of its kind Jio-BP mobility station in Navde, in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The Jio-BP venture will bring a network of such mobility stations to India that will offer a constellation of fuel choices to users. On top of this, the existing 1400 fuel pumps will also be rebranded to Jio-BP.
The mobility stations will be providing additivised fuels, EV charging stations, refreshments for food, and more low carbon solutions for its customers. The partnership leverages Jio's millions of customers, the Reliance Retail footprint, and BP's excellence in providing high-quality fuel, lubricants, and low carbon solutions.

This partnership comes at a time where the world is moving away from the internal combustion engine
The mobility stations will notably offer additivised fuel at no extra cost which includes active technology that forms a protective layer on top of critical engine parts that keeps it clean. On top of this, there will be EV charging stations that will be set up alongside battery swapping stations. The joint venture aims to be the leading EV charging infrastructure provider in India.
The partnership is also bringing the Wild bean Cafe brand to India that will enable refreshments to be available which will be a 24x7 shop that will leverage Reliance Retail.
Jio-BP is also going to provide a network of express oil change outlets in partnership with Castrol at its mobility stations which will provide free vehicle check-ups and free oil change service. Every 2-wheeler customer buying Castrol lubricants will be able to avail oil change at no extra cost.
