We've seen the Discovery Vision concept from Land Rover recently but don't mistake that one for this. Land Rover has introduced the 2015 Discovery which gets some tweaks. The Discovery celebrated its 25th anniversary through a special edition announced earlier this year and some of the goodies are now available for the 2015 model year.
Exterior changes include a five-spoke XXV 20-inch alloys which feature a light silver polished finish and a list of new paints like Montalcino Red, Kaikoura Stone, Aruba and Yulong.
There are changes to the inside of the car too and the cabin receives a two-tone Ebony/Cirrus Windsor leather seats along with a Grand Black Lacquer wood, new leather-wrapped steering wheel, a Straight Grained Walnut wood trim and support for Land Rover InControl Apps.
The 2015 Discovery gets the 340bhp and 450Nm torque churning 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine while there are two options available for those wanting to opt for the diesel powertrain. There is a 211bhp 3.0-litre TDV6 and a 3.0-litre SDV6 putting out 256bhp. All three motors come with a start/stop system and come mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox. The Discovery is up for grabs and deliveries will start in September
